Resolution 004-1971 RESOLUTION NO. ~--197l RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT FOR RECORD WHEREAS, Cross Key Waterways, Inc., a Florida Corporation, has requested that the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, approve for record a plat known as "CROSS KEY WATER WAY ESTA TES SECTION THREE, a Resubdivision of portions of Lots 7, 8, 18, 19, 20, 30, and 31 according to a survey made by P. F. Jenkins, Civil Engineer and a map or plat thereof P. B. 1, P. 68, lying in Section 14, Township 61 South, Range 39 East, Key Largo, Monroe County, Florida", and WHEREAS, in lieu of the bond required by the provisions of Chapter 59-1577 and Chapter 59-1578, Laws of Florida, Acts of the Legislature Year 1959, the platters of said subdivision will enter into an Agreement with the County of Monroe, State of Florida, to convey to the County Lots 23, 24, 25~ Block 8 of Plat of Cross Key Waterway Estates, Section 3, to be recorded in the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, in Plat Book ~ , Page p , as security for the construction and paving of streets in said subdivision, and WHEREAS, the County Tax Assessor and County Zoning Director have recommended that said Board approve said plat for record, provided said Board waives the provisions :con'tained in the referred to laws, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONR OE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the provisions of Chapter 59-1577 and Chapter 59-1578, Laws of Florida, Acts of the Legislature Year 1959, and the plat filing regulations of Monroe County, Florida, be, and the same are hereby waived, in that the property is being accepted and pledged in lieu of a bond, so far as the plat known as "CROSS KEY W A TERW AY ESTATES SECTION THREE, a Resubdivision of portions of Lots 7, 8, 18, 19, 20, 30, and 31 according to a survey made by P. F. Jenkins, Civil Engineer and a map or plat thereof p. B. 1, P. 68, lying in Section 14, Township 61 South, Range 39 East, Key Largo, Monroe County, Florida", is concerned, and that said plat be, and the same is hereby approved for record, and the Chairman and the Clerk of said Board are hereby auth- orized to sign the certificate of approval on said plat, upon delivery of executed Deed conveying the above referred to property to said County. These plats have been prepared in accordance with the Monroe County plat filing regulations. Georg~ Street and Boyd Drive in Section III are to be public roads, the remainer of all other roads will be private. We have estimated the cost of constructing George Street and Boyd Drive to Monroe County Standards at $10,000. The developer of this subdivision, Mr. Charles Netter will forward to Paul Sawyer the agreement, deed and appraisal for guaranteeing the construction of these roads. We will forward under separate cover the linen tracings of the plats to Paul Sawyer, together with our check for the recording fee.
