RESOLUTION NO. 24-1971
WHEREAS~ the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
F1orida~ decides to enter into an Inter1oca1 Agreement with the State of Florida,
Department of Transportation, concerning the airport development project on
the Marathon (Flight Strip) Airport, Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said Department of Transportation has agreed to
participate in the project in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, 000)
through a grant, and
WHEREAS, said Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, decides to accept said grant, now~ therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that it hereby approves the entering into an
Inter1oca1 Agreement with the State of Florida, Department of Transportation,
concerning financial participation by said Department of Transportation in the
airport development project on the Marathon (Flight Strip) Airport, Monroe
County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the mayor and chairman of said board
and the clerk of said board, be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said
Interloca1 Agreement for and on behalf of said county.
