RESOLUTION NO. 267 -1992
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED
ABANDONMENT OF TERN LANE, BOCA CHICA OCEAN
SHORES, BIG COPPITT KEY, MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA.

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County
and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets,
alley-ways, roads or highways, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is neces-
sary to hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said
hearing in accordance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that at 3:00 P.M., on Tuesday, June 29,
1992, in the Honroe County Courthouse, Courtroom "A", 500
Whitehead Street, Key West, Monroe County, Florida, said Board
will hold a public hearing to determine whether or not said Board
will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public
in and to the following described streets, alley-ways, roads or
highways:
A portion of Tern Lane as shown on the Plat of "BOCA
CHICA OCEAN SHORES" as recorded in Plat Book 5 at Page
49 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida,
lying Northerly and Westerly of Lots 2 and 3, Block 10
of said plat and more particularly described as
tollows:
BEGIN at the Northeast corner of the said Lot 2 and run
thence West along the Southerly right of way line of
Tern Lane for a distance of 102.69 feet to a point of
curve, said curve being concave to the Southeast and
having a radius of 25 feet and a central angle of 690
23' 37"; thence Southwesterly along the said curve for
an arc distance of 30.28 feet to a point; thence West
along the Southerly end of the said Tern Lane for a
distance of 26.71 feet to a point; thence North 200 36'
23" East along the Westerly right of way line of Tern
Lane for a distance of 115.13 feet to a point; thence
East along the Northerly right of way line of the said
Tern Lane for a distance of 216.71 feet to a point;
thence South 200 36' 23" West for a distance of 53.42
feet back to the Point of Beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to Plwlish notice of said
meeting in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida
Statutes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of the Board held on
