RESOLUTION NO. 32 -1975
RESOLUTION RELATED TO
ACQUIRING COPIES OF THE
DIVISION OF STATE PLANNING'S
FINAL RECO~~ENDATIONS FOR
MONROE COUNTY AS AN AREA OF
CRITICAL STATE CONCERN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, feel t~at it is in t~eir best interests to stay informed as
to state decisions affecting local control of land use, and,
~iHEREAS, the Department of Administration, Division of State
Planning, has prepared a final recommendation for the Governor and
cabinet in relation to Florida Statutes, Chapter 380.05, The Environ-
mental Land :1anagement Act, and,
WHEREAS, the Public Records Law, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes,
contains no exemption upon \vhich the state or agency thereof may rely
in order to prevent inspection of documents by a citizen, and,
WHEREAS, the final receommendation for designation of Monroe
County as an rea of critical state concern has been kept secret since
December of 1974 by the Department of Administration, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM;lUSSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that five copies of the final receommendation of the
Department of Administration, Division of State Planning be made
available to the Monroe County Commissioners.
