WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,
at a special meeting held on Tuesday, March 28, 1972 at the Sub-courthouse,
Sheriff's sub-station, Plantation Key, Monroe County, Florida passed unanimously
the following motion:
"Effective this date the county declare a moratorium on all
plats involving trailers, mobile homes, and campers and on
changes to RU4 and RU5 and all hearings for trailer zoning
until the present problems confronting the county can be
worked out."
and
WHEREAS, said Board desires to grant a variance to James J. Parrish,
owner of Lot ~, Block ~, Sands Subdivision, Big Pine Key, Monroe County,
Florida, recorded in Plat Book -1-, Page ~, to allow a trailer in an RUl
zone and to have the moratorium referred to above immediately reestablished
on plats involving trailers, mobile homes and campers and on changes to RU4
and RU5 and all hearings for trailer zoning until the present problems con-
fronting the county can be worked out, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that the moratorium established by said Board on March 28, 1972,
volving trailers, mobile homes, and campers and changes of zoning from RU4
and RU5 and all hearings for trailer zoning until the present problems of the
county can be worked out be and the same is hereby lifted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that it grants a variance to
James J. Parrish, owner of Lot ~, Block ~, Sands Subdivision, Big Pine Key,
Monroe County, Florida, recorded in Plat Book ~, Page ~, to allow a trailer
in an RUl zone.
BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that effective this date the
county declare a moratorium on all plats involving trailers, mobile homes, and
campers and on changes to RU4 and RU5 and all hearings for trailer zoning
until the present problems confronting the county can be worked out.
