Resolution 027-1974 RESOLUTION 'NO. 27 -1974 WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, at a public hear- ing on October 26, 1973~ duly called and held in accordance with the zoning regulations of Monroe County, Florida, and the laws of the State of Florida, con- sidered the request of Juan Rodriques and Goerge McMann us for a change of zoning on Tract #3-B, P.B. 2, Page 25, Amended Plat of Mandalay in Section 6, Township 62 South, Range 39 East, containing 2.29 acres more or less (Key Largo), and WHEREAS, after taking testimony and hearing all persons desiring to be heard, said Board denied the request for the change of zoning, and WHEREAS, Juan Rodriques and George McMannus filed an appeal with the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, asking the Board to re- verse the decision of the Zoning Board, in accordance with the laws applicable thereto, and WHEREAS, on the 15th day of January, 1974, the Board of County Commis- sioners held such appeal and Mr. Arthur Miller, attorney, appeared on behalf of Juan Rodriques and George McMannus and after reviewing the record and proceedings and said action taken in said public hearing held on October 26, 1973, and hearing the argument of counsel of the above parties, voted to reverse the Zoning Board in denying said request for change of zoning from GU to RU-3, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to pass a resolution confirming the above action of said Board of County Commissioners, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the decision of the Zoning Board made at the public hearing on October 26, 1973'1'denying the request of Juan Rodriques and George McMannus for a change of zoning from GU to RU-3 on Tract#3-B, P.B. 2, Page 25, Amended Plat of Mandalay in Section 6, Township 62 South, Range 39 East, containing 2.29 acres more or less (Key Largo), is hereby reversed and the said Juan Rodriques and George McMannus is hereby granted a change of zoning from GUto RU-3.
