RESOLUTION NO. 87-1974
WHEREAS, Ocean Reef Club, Inc. has requested the Department of
Transportation State of Florida to disclaim certain portions of Old Right -of -
Way 5-905, and
WHEREAS, said Ocean Reef Club, Inc. is willing to dedicate a 50-foot
right-of-way as shown on the attached map, and
WHEREAS, the new 50-foot right-of-way creates a new intersection with
the new State Road 5-905 and will eliminate the intersection of Old State Road
5-905 and creates a safer intersection, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that it hereby recommends that the Department of Transportation State
of Florida disclaim that portion of Old State Road 5-905 shown on the attached
map which is made a part hereof upon Ocean Reef Club, Inc. paving a 20-foot
road on the centerline of the 50-foot access road shown on said map and dedi-
cates the 50-foot access road with the construction .and paving completed in
accordance with the Monroe County Road Department specifications to Monroe
County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that certified copies of this
resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation State of Florida
for appropriate action upon notification by said Board of County Commissioners
that said access road has been constructed and dedicated to Monroe County,
Florida.
