Resolution 107-1974 RESOLUTION' NO. 107 -1974 WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida at a public hearing on April 26, 1974, duly called and held in accor- dance with the zoning regulations of Monroe County, Florida, and the laws of the State of Florida, considered the request of Tom Pennekamp for a change of zoning on Lots 8 and 9, Block 7, of South Creek Village, recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 85 located in Section 14, Township 61 South, Range 39 East, (Key Largo), from RU-lM to RU-l, and, WHEREAS, after hearing all persons desiring to be heard, said Board denied the request for the change of zoning from RU-1M to Ru-l, and WHEREAS, Tom Pennekamp filed an appeal with the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, asking the Board to reverse the decision of the Zoning Board, in accordance with the laws applicable thereto, and WHEREAS, on the 20th day of August, 1974, the Board of County Commissioners held such appeal and after reviewing the record and proceedings and said action taken at said public hearing on April 26, 1974, and taking testimony and hearing all persons desiring to be heard, voted to uphold the decision of the Zoning Board in denying the request for change of zoning from RU-1M to RU-l, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to pass a resolution confirming the above action of said Board of County Commissioners, now, there- fore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the decision of the Zoning Board made at the public hearing on April 26, 1974, denying the request of Tom Pennekamp for a change of zoning from RU-1M to RU-l on Lots 8 and 9, Block 7, of South Creek Village, recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 85, located in Section 14, Township 61 South, Range 39 East, (Key Largo), is hereby upheld.
