RESOLUTION NO. llL1974
WHEREAS, NATHAN TYNES, a Lieutenant in the Sheriff's
Department of Monroe County, Florida, has departed this life, and
liHEREAS, the said NATHAN TYNES served in the Sheriff's
Department for a period of sixteen years and at the time of his
death had been promoted to Lieutenant in charge of the Criminal
Division of the Sheriff's office, and
WHEREAS, the said NATHAN TYNES rendered outstanding service
as a Deputy Sheriff performing his duties in an efficient, courteous,
and dedicated manner bringing credit to the Sheriff's Department,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, feels that the County and the citizens of Monroe County,
Florida, lost a faithful servant and desires to extend and express
its regret and sympathy to his family and numerous friends as well
as to recognize his outstanding service record, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that its deepest sympathy and heartfelt
regret is hereby expressed on the passing of NATHAN TYNES, beloved
father and outstanding citizen, and these expressions of sympathy are
hereby extended to all his relatives and friends.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward a certified copy
of this resolution to the family to the said NATHAN TYNES.
