RESOLUTION NO. 35 -1976
WHEREAS, it is the requirement of the Department of
Housing and Urban Development to advertise a Notice of Finding of
No Significant Environmental Impact and a Five Day Public Notice
of Intent to Request Release of Funds for the acquisition of real
estate under the Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, a Proof of Publication has been issued by the
Key West Citizen, a newspaper published locally throughout the en-
tire County and of general circulation certifying the two publica-
tions required; and
WHEREAS, the public-comment period has been complied
with in accordance with the Department of Housing and Urban De-
velopment's requirements; and
WHEREAS, Monroe County has complied with all of the regu-
lations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Community
Development Block Grant Number B-75-DN-12-0013 for the certifica-
tion of environmental compliance; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the Department of Housing
and Urban Development for the release of funds for the acquisition
of property under the Community Development Block Grant Program
have been complied with
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute the certification and documents pertaining
to the release of funds under the Community Development Block Grant
Program on behalf of Monroe County.
