Resolution 048-1976RESOLUTION NO.48 - -1976
WHEREAS, there has been prefiled a bill in the State
Legislature imposing an excise tax upon the bill of subscribers
to telephone communication services for the purpose of funding
implementation and maintenance of the emergency telephone number
"911", and
WHEREAS, said -bill requires that funds from said excise
tax be distributed to the County, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF.
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that it hereby expresses its support for
said bill and that the Clerk of the Board shall transmit a copy
of'this resolution to those persons representing Monroe County,
Florida.in the State Legislature.
