A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF THE FIFTH YEAR
SOLID WASTE RECYCLING AND EDUCATION GRANT TO
'I'HE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL
REGULATION.

WHEREAS, the Florida
announced the application

Department of Environmental Regulation

WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation has
divided the application into two parts in order to enable the Department
to calculate the grant awards, and now therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMTSSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that:
1. The Monroe County Environmental Management Division Recycling
Department has approval to submit the Fifth Year Solid Waste Recycling
and Education Grant to the Department of Environmental Regulation, and
that;
2. The Board authorizes the County Administrator to have signature
authori ty on the Department of Environmental Regulation Grant
Application and payment requests, and that;
3. 'fhis resolution shall go into effect irrunediately upon its passage and
adoption and authentication by the signatures of the presiding Officer
and Clerk of the Corrunission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Corrunissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on t.he 15th day
of July, A.D. 1992.
