A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THAT THE SUPERVISOR
ri�JNRU W `EttbTIONS PLACE ON THE NOVEMBER 3, 1992, GENERAL
ELECTION BALLOT A REFERENDUM QUESTION RELATING TO THE
CREATION OF FUNDING FOR HURRICANE SHELTERS IN MONROE
COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING REFUGE AND MINIMAL
HOUSING FUNCTIONS DURING AND AFTER THE EVENT OF A
HURRICANE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
Section 1. That the Supervisor of Elections of Monroe
County is hereby requested to place on the November 3, 1992,
General Election ballot, within Monroe County, the following
referendum question:
"SHALL MONROE COUNTY LEVY A TAX TO PROVIDE HURRICANE
SHELTERS?"
Yes (Approval) No (Rejection)
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 5th day of August, 1992.
