Ordinance 010-1983ORDINANCE NO. 10 -1983 AN ORDINANCE OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10-1982, PERTAIN- ING TO REIMBURSEMENT OF VOLUNTEERS IN THE SPECIAL FIRE AND AMBULANCE TAX DIS- TRICTS IN THE COUNTY; INCREASING THE REIMBURSEMENT FROM $35.00 PER MONTH TO $50.00 PER MONTH AS OF OCTOBER 1, 1982; PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY OF THE ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ANY ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF THEREOF THAT ARE IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 10-1982 is hereby amended to provide for reimbursement payable to individual volun- teers in the various Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies in the County, in the amount of $50.00 a month per person, commencing October 1, 1982. Section 2. Any Ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the con- flict. Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance shall be construed as not having contained such section, subsection, sentence, clause or provision, and shall not be affected in any wise by such holding. Section 4. The provisions of this ordinance shall be included and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the County of Monroe. Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon being filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Florida.
