AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval of appointment of Jack Thorley as the Middle Keys
representative to the South Florida Resource Conservation and Development Council.
ITEM BACKGROUND: Mr. Thorley has been nominated and approved by the SFRC&D
members to fill the seat previously held by David P. Rice. Commissioner Rice resigned due to
continuing schedule conflicts which prevented him from attending monthly meetings of the
Council.
