ORDINANCE NO. 1 -1977
AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE MINIMUM AMOUNTS OF LI-
ABILITY INSURANCE THAT MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
MAY TAKE FOR BODILY INJURY AND PROPERTY LIABILITY
ON FIRE TRUCKS, AMBULANCES, AND ANY OTHER EM-
ERGENCY VEHICLES OWNED BY MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section I.
That the minimum liability insurance on
County owned fire trucks, ambulances, and any other emergency
vehicles owned by said County shall be as follows:
(I) $50,000 per person for bodily injury liability.
(2) $100,000 per occurrence for bodily injury liability.
(3) $100,000 per occurrence for property damage li-
ability.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be deemed to be filed and
shall take effect when a copy has been accepted by the postal
authorities of the government of the United States for special de-
livery by registered mail to the Department of State.
