A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZ-
ING THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO
ADMIT INTO BAYSHORE MANOR ON A DAILY BASIS
CERTAIN CLIENTS FOR DAILY RESPITE CARE (DAY
CARE) AND ESTABLISHING THE CONDITIONS FOR
SUCH ADMISSIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
Section 1.
That the Department of Social Services may
admit to Bayshore Manor for daily respite care (day care not
subject to Sections 400.55, et seq" Florida Statutes and Florida
Administrative Code Chapter 59A-16) such clients as would be
eligible for admission for residency but desire admission on a
daily, no overnight, basis,
Section 2.
Such admissions shall be on a first come,
first serve basis such that prospective users of the day care
services will be denied admission only when and if the ACLF
requirements for square footage per resident, and personnel per
resident have reached full capacity,
Section 3,
Any client admitted pursuant to this resolu-
tion shall be required to sign such admission forms as will fully
inform said clients of the County's area of responsibility and
the client's area of responsibility and liabilities of each.
Section 4.
This provision of daily respite or day care
shall result only in the provision of such services as are
available to the existing residential clientele of the adult
congregate living facility,
Section 5.
The admission forms signed by each client
shall be countersigned by the Director of Social Services and the
County Administrator upon verification that the forms are
complete,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the
