A RESOLUTION OF THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE FY93 ANTI;;-R~AJ;m:;;~i
GRANT AGREEMENTS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUN~T~WFFA~~S'
FOR MONROE COUNTY D.A.R.E. AND PRETRIAL SERVICES PROGRAMS

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 280-1992, the Monroe County
Board of Commissioners authorized the submission of a grant
application to the Department of Community Affairs to
request funding for five agencies that provide anti-drug
abuse programs in Monroe County; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Affairs has
notified the County that the Monroe County D.A.R.E. and
Pretrial Services programs qualify for funding; now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. The Mayor of the Board is hereby authorized to
execute the FY93 Anti-Drug Abuse Grant Agreements which will
provide funding in the amount of $86,654.00 to the Monroe
County D.A.R.E. program and $50,604.00 to the Monroe County
Pretrial Services; and that
2. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption by the Commission and execution by the
Presiding Officer and Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said
Board held on the 27th day of October, A.D. 1992.
