Ordinance 011-1973 ORDINANCE NO. 11 -1973 AN ORDINANCE PER TAINING TO THE ADOPTION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE 1971 EDITION, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED FOR HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL SPECIAL LAWS, ORDINANCES, RESOLU- TIONS, RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH TO THE EXTENT OF SAID CONFLICT; AND PROVID- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the National Electrical Code 1971 Edition, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part of this Ordinance, is hereby adopted as the Monroe County, Florida Electrical Code. Section 2. Requirements and Schedule of Fees for Electrical Permits shall be those said requirements and schedule of fees in the Ordinance adopting the Monroe County, Florida Building Code in lieu of those set forth in said National Electrical Code 1971 Edition. Section 3. Any person, partnership, firm, and/or corporation vio- lating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 125.69, Florida Statutes, 1971, or any re- enactment thereof. Section 4. This Ordinance shall not apply to any municipality located in Monroe County, Florida. Section 5. All Special Laws, Ordinance s, Resolutions, rules and regulations in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of said con- flict. Section 6. This Ordinance shall take effect upon receipt of the official acknowledgment from the Department of State acknowledging receipt of certified copy of this Ordinance and that said Ordinance has been filed in said office. • NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF COUNTY ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN that on Tuesday, October 30, 1973, at 2:00 P.
