You are directed to make the following changes in this contract; all other provisions of the contract shall, except as
specifically changed herein, remain in full force and effect.
Issue: 002 - PRIMARY U/G ELECT'L SUBST'N REQUEST
In accordance with the Contractor's Post-Bid Substitution Request dated September 21, 1994,
incorporate the following value engineering revisions to the site electrical, telephone and cable TV
feeds;
- Revise the primary electrical feed from the specified loop system to a radial system, deleting
portions of the specified U/G duct bank, cable, and the G & W type vacuum switch.
- Revise the routing of the telephone U/G conduits to provide service from the Mai~'Telephone~om
at the New Detention Facility to Equipment Room #1140 at the New Sheriff's Headquarters ~ildtng, ~
deleting the specified spare 4" conduit and util izing existing U/G conduits where possib~ to:a
riser at Sheriff's Building Column C7. ~
- Revise the routing of the Cable TV U/G conduit to uti l ize the existing 2" U/G col"li:fuH where ~
possible and enter the New Sheriff's Headquarters Building at a riser at Column C7. I
