Re: Contract Negotiations I Teamsters Local 769
Dear Mr. Collins:
I am vrriting to confirm the tenns under which I would serve as the lead representative on
the County's negotiating team.
I will bill the County at $350 per hour fOT my services. I would charge one-half that rate
for any travel time that might be involved. Kevin Vance will be assisting me from time to time.
His hourly rate is $225. I will also charge for incidentals rc:la.ted to the services I will be
performing as the County's lead negotiator. Examples of such charges include photocopying
charges, travel and lodging expenses, fax trarn;missions, long di~tance telephone charges, and
any Lexis and Westlaw research charges that might be mquired.
I will bill the County monthJy for my services performed during the prior month. The
billing statements will show the tasks perfonned each day based on tenth of an hour increments,
and the total fees and disbursements.
It is my understanding that the County win budget approximately $30,000 for this
project, but that the County maYl in its discretion, later extend or supplement that budget
depending upon the circumstances. It is also my Wldel"Standing that either I or the County ma.y
terminate this engagement at any time upon written notice to the other party.
