RE:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
MA VOR, Wilhelmina Harvey, District 1
Mayor Pro Tem, Jack London, District 2
Douglas Jones, District 3
A. Earl Cheal, District 4
John Stormont, District 4
Please be advised that last sentence of Section 4(a) on Page 2 of
the above-referenced contract was struck and initial by Aero
Products in that said language was erroneous and should have not
been included in the contract. It is my opinion that the removal
of said sentence does not materially affect the contract and,
therefore, Mayor Harvey was instructed to initial said change and
sign the contract as well. Please be advised that you may now
attest to and seal this contract to complete County execution.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to

Aero Contract
June 5, 1992
Attached for execution are the three Aero Contract packages. As
per our conversation, Tavernier Volunteer Ambulance Corps included
in the contract a delivery date which was erroneous: Page 2, Section
4, subsection a, the last sentence of the paragraph: "Delivery date
shall be prior to Sept. 15, 1992 regardless of chassis delivery date".
Jeannie Banks, Tavernier Volunteer Ambulance Chief, has advised that
this requirement should not have been in the contract or
specifications package. Accordingly, as you advised, we requested
that the Aero authorized representative cross out the sentence and
initial the change, in addition to signing the final page of the
contract.
The Clerk's Office has advised that in order to accept the contract
with the struck through sentence, that they will need a letter from
your office indicating that such does not materially affect the"
contract.
Please contact me should you have any questions.
