RESOLUTION NO. 128-1991 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 076-1991 WHICH ESTABLISHED A FIRE-RESCUE RESOURCE REVIEW COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, on March 13, 1991, the Board of County Commis- sioners of Monroe County, Florida, adopted Resolution No. 076-1991, which established a Fire-Rescue Resource Review Committee; and WHEREAS, the Board now desires to amend said Resolution; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. Paragraph 3 under the "Now Therefore" section of Resolution No. 076-1991 is hereby amended to read as follows: "3. Each Board member shall appoint one member to the committee." Section 2. Paragraph 1 under the "Purpose" section of Resolution No. 076-1991 is hereby amended to read as follows: "1. To provide input on the effectiveness and adequacy of fire-rescue services including but not limited to: - level of service - capital improvement projects - capital expenditures" Section 3. The section entitled "Organization" in Resolution No. 076-1991 is hereby amended to read as follows: "ORGANIZATION: 1. All members of the COMMITTEE shall be eligible for appointment for one term until the end of the fiscal year and shall be appointed by the BOARD. 2. The members of the COMMITTEE shall serve without compensation or reimbursement of personal expenses. 3. The members of the COMMITTEE will elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman from among its membership. 4. The COMMITTEE is not authorized to expend any funds unless it has prior authorization by the BOARD. r I i ! 5. The COMMITTEE shall meet on a monthly basis, or more frequently if needed, by written notification to all members by the Chair. The meetings shall be held alternately in Lower, Middle and Upper Keys locations. 6. All meetings shall be open to the public, and in accordance with the laws of regulating government in the sunshine. The COMMITTEE may adopt such other rules for its operations and proceedings as it deems desirable." PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the ~ day of April A.D., 1991.
