A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE AMERICAN
ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED PERSONS TO CONDUCT BINGO'r',~AMES

WHEREAS, the American Association of Retired Persons occu-
pies several County facilities for the purpose of providing
recreational opportunities for elderly and retired persons, and
WHEREAS, the American Association of Retired Persons has
requested of Monroe County that it be authorized to use Monroe
County facilities provided to the AARP for the conduct of bingo
games, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Commission-
ers of Monroe County to authorize and approve such games, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) of
Monroe County is hereby authorized to conduct bingo games at
County facilities provided by the County to the Association.
2. All such games shall be conducted by the AARP in
accordance with the rules, regulations, and limitations pre-
scribed in Florida Statutes sec. 849.093.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the
