Resolution 375-1989 Monroe County Commission RESOLUTION NO. 375-1989 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, INSTRUCT- ING THE MONROE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO INITIATE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE FORM ENTITLED "NOTICE TO TAX COLLECTOR OF APPLICATION FOR TAX DEED." S. provides that the (S.8unty' ") shall makes application for a tax deed on all certificates 2 years after April 1 of the year of issuance of the tax certificates; and WHEREAS, l2D-12.033, F.A.C. outlines the procedure for the County to apply for a tax deed, to-wit: Tax deed applications shall be filed by the Board of County Commissioners . . The Board of County Commissioners shall instruct the tax collector to initiate Department of Revenue form entitled, "Notice to Tax Collector of application for Tax Deed" pursuant to this rule; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. The Board hereby instructs the tax collector of Monroe County to make Tax Deed application for the 102 delinquent tax certificates that are held by the County. 2. The Board shall deposit with the tax collector appli- cable costs and fees for making application for tax deeds.
