A RESOLUTION BY THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF
APPEALS, DENYING THE APPEAL OF JIMMIE AND
VIRGINIA WILL lAMS OF THE PLANNING COM-
MISSION'S DENIAL OF A DIMENSIONAL VARIANCE
REQUEST · .. L _
~~REAS, the Board of County Commissioners has heard argu-
ment by both the appellants and the County staff with regard to
the Planning Commission's decision below; and
WHEREAS, the record below has been reviewed and includes the
appeal application, a transcript of the Planning Commission
hearing, the Resolution No. 11-89 of the Planning Commission
denying the variance request, the minutes of the Planning Commis-
sion hearing, the variance application and the staff report by
Lorenzo Aghemo dated September 25, 1989, which also recommended
denial; and
w~EREAS, the planners, development review committee and the
Planning Commission have agreed that the applicants do not meet
the requirements for the granting of a dimensional variance; and
WHEREAS, the applicants/appellants have not met their burden
of proof, by showing where the Planning Commission had erred;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the Board of Appeals, that the
appeal of the Planning Commission's dimensional variance denial
is hereby DENIED.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
