Destination Events Agreement between Monroe County and the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Key West, Inc. covering Pride Fest 2006 on June 3-11,2006 in an amount not to exceed $14,500, DAC I, FY 2006 Event Resources. Destination Events Agreement between Monroe County and Miami Swordfish Tournament LLC covering the Islamorada Swordfish Tournament on August 11-13,2006 in an amount not to exceed $15,000, DAC IV, FY 2006 Event Resources. Amendment to Agreement between Monroe County and the Dolphin Research Center for the Dolphin Habitat and Tiki Structure projects to March 31,2006. Amendment to Interlocal Agreement between Monroe County and the City of Marathon for the Community Park Phase III project to acquire land for the purpose of constructing an aquatic center to March 31,2006. Amendment to Interlocal Agreement between Monroe County and the City of Marathon for the Marathon Community Park extending the Contract to March 31,2006. Destination Events Agreement between Monroe County and the Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce covering the Big Pine Key Winterfest 2006 - Art and Music in a Natural Key on December 10, 2006 in an amount not to exceed $3,000, DAC II, FY 2006 Event Resources. Tourist Development Items November 16th BOCC/Page 2 Grant Award Agreement between Monroe County and Key West Botanical Garden Society, Inc. covering Phase I of the creation of a nationally acclaimed bird watching and orchid tourist attraction in an amount not to exceed $200,000, DAC I, FY 2006 Capital Project Resources. j Amendment to Agreement between Monroe County and Key West Tourist Development Association covering Fantasy Fest 2005 to revise dates and scope of services relating to the event. Agreement between Monroe County and Florida Keys Community College and letters "FKCC" covering the Tennessee Williams Theatre Theatrical Equipment Acquisition project in an amount not to exceed $12,000, DAC I, FY 2006, Capital Project Resources. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact this office. cc: County Attorney Finance File AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT THIS ADDENDUM to agreement is made and entered into this \(, ~ay of ~ 2005, between the County of Monroe and Key West Tourist Development Association. WHEREAS, there was an agreement entered into on March 16, 2005, between the parties, awarding $120,000 to the Key West Tourist Development Association for Fantasy Fest on October 21-30, 2005, and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to revise dates of event, and adjust the number of activities sanctioned by Fantasy Fest due to the fact the event had to be postponed because of Hurricane Wilma; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein the parties agree to the amended agreement as follows: 3. effect. 1. Paragraph I of the agreement will read as follows: The BOCC agrees to pay from tourist development tax funds $120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Dollars) for Fantasy Fest on December 7-10,2005, provided Event Sponsor meets all of its obligations under this agreement. Paragraph 2 of the agreement will read as follows: 1. Event Sponsor shall provide national or international marketing exposure which will guarantee TV, radio and newspaper marketing coverage 2. A one day Street Fair with food, beverage, and arts and crafts vendors 3. An evening Masquerade March through the streets, originating at the City Cemetery and terminating at the Street Fair 4. A Duval Street Promenade of food and beverage vendors 5. Provide Fantasy Fest parade 6. Coordination and promotion of between 20-25 activities sanctioned by Fantasy Fest 2.
