Agenda Item #:
EV A LIMBERT
Eva Limbert worked for Monroe County for 30 years. These years have seen her through
many times in her life. She worked in the Clerk's Office from June 1973 through July
1989. She then worked for the BOCC from July 1989 through April 1995. Eva then
worked for the Sheriff's Department from 1995 through 2000 and the Social Services
Department from March 2002 through August 2005 as Grant Coordinator, and truly an
asset to Monroe County.
During all the years with Monroe County, Eva went from being a young mother with
small children to seeing those children grow up, attend college and graduate to careers of
their own. Eva is a very smart and talented individual. With her vast knowledge she was
able to put the Grant Coordinator position on track and in ship shape condition. Eva is a
very caring and dedicated person, someone who could always be counted on in times of
deadlines and/or dilemmas. She was just what Monroe County needed and we are sorry
to lose her. We wish her all the best in her retirement.
