At the December 21, 2005, Board of County Commissioner's meeting the Board granted
approval and authorized execution of the following:
Lease Extension Agreement between Monroe County and Republic Parking System, Inc.
for Parking Lot Management for the Key West International Airport.
/Termination of month to month holdover Lease between Monroe County and the National
Weather Service at the Key West International Airport, effective November 30,2005.
Enclosed is a duplicate original of the Lease Extension Agreement and a copy of the
Termination Letter for your handling. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to

West, Florida
Dear Mr. Horton:
As you are aware, the referenced lease has been in a month-to-month holdover status since
October 1, 2001, under the same terms and conditions as the original lease. This letter serves as
notification that the referenced Agreement between Monroe County Board of County Commissioners
and the United States of America, which permits use of office space in Key West, Florida, is
terminated effective November 30,2005. All Government property will be removed from the site by
that date.
We appreciate your willingness to provide office space to the National Weather Service for the past
26 years. It has been a pleasure working with you and Bevette Moore on this lease; and I look
forward to continuing to work together on the Upper Air Inflation Building and ASOS ground leases.
Please sign below to indicate concurrence, return one original signature copy of this letter to the
address below, and retain one copy for your files. Concurrence with this notice hereby releases the
U.S. Government from all future liability with regard to subject property.
