RESOLUTION NO.4 71 -2001
A RESOLUTION BY THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING RESOLUTION #364-1992 AND ANY OTHER
PREVIOUS FEE SCHEDULES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH, AND
AMENDING THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT FEE SCHEDULE TO
INCLUDE FEES FOR THE REVIEW OF NON-RESIDENTIAL RATE
OF GROWTH ORDINANCE (NROGO) APPLICATIONS,
PURSUANT TO SECTION 9.5-124.5(B) OF THE MONROE
COUNTY CODE.
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners wishes to provide citizens
of the County with the best possible service in the most cost effective and reasonable manner; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance #032-01, which provides for an allocation system for non-residential
floor area was adopted by Monroe County Board of County Commissioners on September 19, 2001;
and
WHEREAS, Section 9.5-124(b), of the Monroe County Code enables the Board of County
Commissioners to establish, by Resolution, a fee for the review of an NROGO application; and
WHEREAS, as indicated in attachment 1, the Director of Planning has demonstrated that
review of the NROGO applications have associated costs to the County; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. That an application fee for NROGO shall be established.
Section 2. The fee shall become effective immediately upon passage of this resolution.
