Per F.S. 286.011(8), the subject matter of the meeting shall be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures. Present at the meeting will be the Commissioners, the County Administrator, the County Attorney, Assistant County Attorney Jerry D. Sanders, Assistant County Bob Shillinger and Robert H. Freilich, Esq., Derek V. Howard, Esq., Tyson Smith, Esq. and Steven 1. Moore, Esq., the County's counsel in this litigation, and a certified court reporter. Sanders, in my capacity as Assistant County Attorney for the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County. As you are aware, the County is currently in litigation in the case(s) of Gal/eon Bay Corporation v. Monroe County v. State of Florida. Case No. CAK-02-595. Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. Monroe County. Florida and Thomas F. Collins. et ai, v. Monroe County. v. State of Florida. CAM-04-379. Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. Monroe County. Florida, The County Attorney and I need your advice concerning the litigation and request that you schedule a private meeting, The subject matter of this meeting will be confined to settlement negotiations and a strategy session related to litigation expenditures. The persons to be in attendance at this closed meeting will be John R. Collins as County Attorney, myself as Assistant County Attorney, Robert Shillinger as Assistant County Attorney, Robert H. Freilich, Esq., Derek V. Howard, Esq., Tyson Smith, Esq. and Stephen J. Moore, Esq. as litigation counsel in the pending litigation Gal/eon Bay Corporation v. Monroe County v. State of Florida. Case No. CAK-02-595 and Thomas F. Collins. et al. v. Monroe County v. State of Florida. CAM-04-379. Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. Monroe County. Florida., the County Commissioners, the County Administrator; and a certified court reporter. By law, no other persons are permitted to be present at this meeting. It is estimated that this meeting will take approximately two (2) hours. ". As required by law, the court reporter shall record the times of commencement and termination of the meeting, all discussions and proceedings, the names of all persons present at any time, and the names of all persons speaking. No portion of the meeting will be "off the record". The court reporter's notes will be fully transcribed, sealed, and then filed with Danny Kolhage, as Clerk.
