This program \\fill be a great advantage to the nighttime officers who respond to business a[1er hours. If there is a sign posted on the propelty potential trespass viol.ators will know that the sheriffs office has the authority to ask people to leave that propClty. This program will be targeted at businesses, and community parks in our sector. The program will work as follows. When a business is interested the owner will contacted us for the paperwork. We \vill issue the paperwork, which will include the instructions, registration form, and the rj'fidavit of authorization. Once Gompleted this paperwork "vill give the Sheriffs Offlcc the authority to trespass peorle from their property without them h,lving to be present. Once the owner of the propelty completes this paperwork and retu,ns it \,yith the fee for the sign, we will issue the official signs to post on the property. The originals paper'Nork will be kept in a file in our sector and copies sent to dispatch for their reference.
