ORDINANCE NO. 053-1987
AN ORDINANCE OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING OP~INANCE NO. 031-1986, SECTION 7(c)
ENTITLED "EXPENSES" TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION
FOR THE MiMBERS OF THE MONROE COUNTY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND AUTHORITY ADVISORY
COMMITTEE ~N THE AMOUNT OF $100 PER MEETING,
NOT TO EXCEED TWO ( 2) MEETINGS PER MONTH;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR THE
REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Section 1.
Section 7(c) of Ordinance No. 031-1986 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"c. Expenses. Members of the Advisory Committee shall
receive $100 compensation per meeting, not to exceed
two (2) meetings per month, for services, and shall be
entitled to necessary expenses including per diem and
travel expenses incurred in the discharge of official
duties as provided by law."
Section 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
provision of this Ordinance is held invalid, the remainder of
this Ordinance shall not be affected by such invalidity.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of
said conflict.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon receipt of official notice from the Office of the Secretary
of State of the State of Florida that this Ordinance has been
filed with said Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Authority

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN that on
Tuesday, December 1, 1987 at 3:00 P.M. at the Plantation Key
Government Center, Plantation Key, Monroe County, Florida, the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, intends
to consider the adoption of the following County ordinance:

Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearings or

proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
Copies of the above-referenced ordinance are available for
review at the various public libraries in Monroe County, Florida.
